Client testimonial describing positive results from Emily’s relationship-based training, including leash walking and focus

Glad you're here.
I'm Emily, a certified dog trainer.

If there’s one thing I want you to know, it’s that you’re not alone. Even the most skilled trainers have challenges with their dogs. None of us are exempt, and that’s often what brings us into this field. I’m dedicated to supporting you with the same compassion I once needed myself. My goal is to strengthen communication between you and your dog, build sustainable routines that meet everyone’s needs, and help you build a happier life together. With every case, I tailor my approach to the individual using welfare-forward, reinforcement-based training.

Common reasons guardians reach out:

On Walks

At Home

Emotional Tolls

  • Excessive barking

  • Chewing or destructive behavior

  • Difficulty relaxing or settling

  • Chasing the cat or other critters

  • Jumping on guests

  • Apartment living struggles (reacting to sounds, people passing, elevators, etc.)

  • Everyday outings feel  more stressful than enjoyable

  • Your dog’s challenges weigh on your own stress and decision-making

  • You feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure what to do next

  • You’ve recently adopted a dog and are navigating challenges you didn’t expect

  • Reactivity towards dogs, people, or other social stimuli (barking, lunging, fixation)

  • Pulling or difficulty settling into a comfortable rhythm

  • Stopping, freezing

  • Difficulty getting your dog to respond to you outside

If any of this sounds familiar, an Intro Call offers a low-pressure space to discuss what’s happening and what support could look like.
